Reside: Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

Started skating: 2003

Sponsors: Plan B and RDS flow through Centre Distribution and Tiki Room

How were you introduced to skateboarding and what got you started?

I was watching the movie "MVP" about the skateboarding monkey and I wanted to give it a shot.  My brother bought me a board, and I was instantly hooked!

Do you remember your first setup?

My very first board was some weird banana board from Walmart.

Were there any early influences on your skating?

Pretty much just all the local Regina skaters.

What is the best and worst thing about your hometown?

We just got a super sweet plaza and all the skaters are awesome and supportive. The worst thing is there aren't very many people that are skater friendly.

Besides skateboarding, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I really like to draw, but I also play guitar and snowboard.

What is your typical day like?

I wake up, suffer through the torture people like to call school, eat supper, then spend the rest of the night at the skatepark.

Do you prefer to skate with guys or girls?

It doesn't matter to me, but I pretty much only skate with guys cause there aren't really any other girls in Regina.

Where do you like to skate?

I love our new plaza, so you'll find me there a lot.

Who do you like to skate with?

My favorite people to skate with are my friends Jesse, Ethan and Levi. Once we get are whole crew together, there is no stopping us. Haha!

What kind of music do you listen to?

I listen to everything.

What is something most people don't know about you?

I'm really shy and quiet.

So far, what have been the highlights of your skateboarding career?

Getting hooked up by Plan B and RDS through Centre, skating in DC Nationals three years and doing good in local contests.

What do you have planned for this year?

I want to definitely try to make it to DC Nationals this year because I missed out last year due to a broken ankle. Get sponsored by a shoe company and just simply skate.

Shout outs and thanks?

Dave Chapados for first helping me out, Noel and the rest of the Tiki room family, Rory MacDonald for everything he's done for me, Owen Woytowich, Shane Reoch for being so supportive and encouraging, my Grandpa and the rest of my family, my friends and Lisa for giving me the chance for this interview. THANK YOU!!
