Hi there,
My name is Isla. I live an hour away from Glasgow and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only girl that's skating in Scotland (It sure feels like I am anyways)!
I'm always too shy to skate at the park or anything so end up going out skating at stupid o'clock in the morning.
I've been skating on and off for about seven years (mainly cruising, I used to take my dogs out for walks and they'd pull me along really fast on my board) but I'm just really starting to get interested in it again. Trying to learn when you're on your own is no fun, especially being 20 and a girl, a lot of the guys that skate here just look at me like I'm an alien.
If you were looking for a friend to skate with, I would be happy to fill the position?
Like I said before, I'm really shy and I feel like if I had a friend to skate with that it'd really help me overcome how shy I am.
